Salon Shortlist publishes verified business details for hair salons, barbershops, nail bars, beauty salons, spas and massage therapists across Malta (including Sliema, St Julian's, Valletta, Birkirkara, Mosta, St Paul's Bay and Gozo) so customers can discover, compare and book local salon services. What we show: for each salon, its trading name, street address, locality, postal code, website, public contact telephone, services, opening hours, and verified amenities (such as online booking, parking and weekend opening). Where it comes from: strictly publicly accessible sources: the salon's own official website, OpenStreetMap, and the Overture Maps Foundation. We do not purchase commercial lead lists. Legal basis: EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests) and the Data Protection Act (Cap. 586 of the Laws of Malta). Our legitimate interest is providing a free, transparent public directory of local businesses and helping salons gain online visibility. We respect all website crawling rules and robots.txt directives. Owner control: any salon owner can update their details, add services, or request immediate removal with no questions asked by clicking "Update this listing" on their profile or contacting contact@salonshortlist.com.
We do not sell personal data. Customers booking through Appointica provide their details solely to fulfill appointment bookings with their chosen salon.
Under the GDPR and Maltese Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your business listing at any time. Regulatory oversight: Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) of Malta (idpc.org.mt).
Data comes from public salon websites and open map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL) and Overture Maps Foundation. "No data" means the salon's site does not say, not that the answer is no. Salons are sorted by profile completeness (how much we could verify), not by quality. No salon pays to be listed.
