Salon Shortlist is part of the Appointica platform (appointica.com), operated by HAIR WHIZZ LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 12192511. Registered office: 34 Beech Close, Huntingdon, PE29 7BA. Salon Shortlist is an open, transparent directory platform provided as part of Appointica (appointica.com). Questions, requests or feedback: contact@salonshortlist.com.
Salon Shortlist publishes verified business details for hair salons, barbershops, nail bars, beauty salons and massage therapists in Ireland (Dublin and surrounding areas) so customers can discover, compare and book local salon services. What we show: for each salon, its trading name, street address, postal code / Eircode area, website, public contact telephone, services, opening hours, and verified amenities (such as online booking and parking). Where it comes from: strictly publicly accessible sources: the salon's own official website, OpenStreetMap, and the Overture Maps Foundation. We do not purchase commercial lead lists. Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests). Our legitimate interest is providing a free, transparent public directory of local businesses and helping salons gain online visibility. We respect all website crawling rules and robots.txt directives, and we do not index any salon whose website prohibits automated indexing. Your rights: under GDPR (Articles 15–22) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access, rectify, or request the immediate deletion (erasure) of your business listing. If you operate a listed salon and wish to amend or remove your listing, email us or use the link on your page; we process all removals immediately and free of charge.
If you run or manage a listed Irish salon, you can claim your listing, link online booking via Appointica, update your opening hours, or request instant removal at any time. Simply click "Correct or remove this listing" on your salon's page or email contact@salonshortlist.com.
We strictly adhere to the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 336/2011). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails to salons that display a no-solicitation notice, and every communication includes full sender transparency and a one-click unsubscribe mechanism.
We do not require user accounts or logins. We do not set tracking cookies or sell visitor information to advertising networks. Privacy-preserving visit counts are recorded anonymously without cross-site tracking.
Data comes from public salon websites and open map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL) and Overture Maps Foundation. "No data" means the salon's site does not say, not that the answer is no. Salons are sorted by profile completeness (how much we could verify), not by quality. No salon pays to be listed.
