Salon Shortlist lists hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, beauty clinics and wellness spas across Canadian provinces (Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, etc.) to help Canadians discover and compare local beauty professionals. Information we collect: for each business, its trade name, street address, city, province, postal code, website, telephone number, services, opening hours, and verified facts (such as online booking and parking). Where it comes from: publicly accessible sources only: the business's own public website, OpenStreetMap, and the Overture Maps Foundation. Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), business contact information (an individual's name, business title, business address and phone number used solely for communicating in relation to their business) is handled transparently. If a listing displays a home-based business address or personal phone and you wish to amend or remove it, we will do so immediately upon request.
We strictly adhere to Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We do not harvest email addresses or send unsolicited commercial messages to businesses that have stated a preference not to receive them. Any outreach contains full sender transparency, contact details, and a one-click unsubscribe mechanism.
If you operate a listed Canadian salon, you can claim your page, integrate Appointica booking, update your hours, or request instant removal at any time. Click the "Correct or remove this listing" link on your salon's page or contact us at contact@salonshortlist.com. We respond to all requests within 48 hours.
We do not require user account registration, set tracking cookies, or sell visitor data. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views anonymously without cross-site tracking.
Data comes from public salon websites and open map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL) and Overture Maps Foundation. "No data" means the salon's site does not say, not that the answer is no. Salons are sorted by profile completeness (how much we could verify), not by quality. No salon pays to be listed.
